Im worried I wont know how to pose.
We completly understand. Most of our clients feel the same way at first, but youre in good hands. At Sitari, we guide you through each pose and make sure you are comfy. The session is designed to capture this milestone for you to look back on and show baby when he/she is older.
Do I need to bring my own outfits?
We know it can be overwhelming to choose the perfect look. Sitari provides a pdf guide with outfit tips, so you don't need to worry about styling. Our recommendations are easy to follow with options that can be found in your wardrobe. It is not necessary to go out and buy or hire outfits but you are more than welcome to do so should you feel like that fits your needs. All moms have their own vision and comfortability level, and thats what makes each session unique .
I really want a maternity shoot but I feel self conscious. My body has changed alot during the pregnancy.
Pregnancy brings so many changes, and its natural to feel self conscious as you discover a new version of you. We find that many moms use this session to boost their self confidence and also honour and embrace how amazing and capable our bodies are to be-able to grow a whole human. When looking back on these portraits, we hope they stand as a reminder of your strength, and inner power.
How far along should I be for my maternity shoot?
28 - 35 weeks. We can of course work with you if you need a different timing. Please note bookings for sessions are done in advance.
How long does it take to receive the images?
2-3 weeks. We do not offer previews as we really want to deliver a full gallery and have it be a surprise. Its so much more impactful.
Do you choose the images for gallery or do I?
We choose the images as we would like to deliver your final edited images without you seeing the raw images. We apply a colour grade to give it the editorial edge and some retouching to enhance features. We have a retouching menu for you to choose from so that you feel your utmost best.
You are more than welcome to select images on the day of your shoot. or leave it up to us to deliver and surprise you.
